For 40 years, my primary focus has been to become kingdom of God centered in my inner life, as well as in my work with the church and the broader marketplace. Even though the forging of my character and life message is a work in process, my closest allies have encouraged me to make my experiences, values and what I’m learning available to others who are walking a similar pathway.

Sometimes, we don’t set out to do things differently, but life just happens. My unusual journey over the past 60 years has taken me down a winding path of entrepreneurial ventures and business startups, as well as pastoral work, non-profit administration and sustainable global ministry ventures. These diverse experiences have forged me into a different man than I envisioned early on. The perspectives gained have been hard won and many are still being worked out in real life. My desire is that you will find something here to help you in your own unique journey.
The articles and posts you can access here are my life messages on business, ministry and manhood from the perspective of one who has tried to walk the ancient pathway of a Christ-follower, with both amazing success and horrific failure. You can expect me to be candid, but don’t expect me to dwell in the past. My story is one of becoming a joyful man, of finding the deepest of friendships and also of becoming a man marked by the presence of God.

BTW, Don’t be alarmed when you see language throughout my writings referencing “The kingdom of God’ or simply “kingdom”. To begin to understand me, you will have to understand this terminology. The Kingdom of God is a biblical term referring to any place where God is in authority. In Luke 17:21 we are told where to find the Kingdom – “…the kingdom of God is within you” In Matthew 6:33 we are told how to prioritize it and what to expect from it: “Seek first the Kingdom of God, and all other things will be added to us”.
